Feedstuffs

Biosearch can assist raw material importers/stores and animal feed producers to meet requirements of industry certification schemes and legislative codes of practice in relation to the control of Enterobacteriaceae and Salmonella. We are accredited by UKAS to test animal feedstuffs in accordance with the requirements of the Animal By-Products Order.

Biosearch is approved by both the Department of Agriculture in Northern Ireland (DEFRA equivalent) and the Department of Agriculture and Food in the Republic of Ireland. We can analyse feedstuffs at all stages of processing and in addition can assist with HACCP/hygiene monitoring in your storage and processing facilities.

We can also conduct in-house analysis for vomitoxin (DON) and through our subcontract partners, provide testing for vitamins, mycotoxins, pesticides and chemical contaminants and composition.
