Biosearch offer a wide range of microbiological enumerations and detections to meet the requirements of caterers, food producers and retailers, in relation to monitoring and controlling the quality and safety of food. Our analysis will assist with your quality assurance programme to demonstrate compliance with EU food safety legislation, British Retail Consortium accreditation and customer-specific requirements.

 Analysis provided includes pathogens such as Salmonella, Listeria and E.coli O157, in addition to routine monitoring for spoilage and hygiene indicators such as Enterobacteriaceae and Aerobic Colony Counts. We can test at all stages of the food production and retail process: raw ingredients, finished products and hygiene swabs of food production/service areas.

We can also assist with complaint investigations, shelf life determination, allergens, pesticides and labelling requirements.
